Truck
Truck was a highly skilled professional greeter for Ashworth& Rye for over a decade. His skills included lounging, relaxing, loud water slurping, tail wagging, sleeping, scratching, groaning, snoring and making clients and staff smile. There are not enough words to describe the importance of having an effective office dog. Truck mastered the art of“hello.”
After having perfected the art of greeting his family at home, Truck decided it was time to take the next step and join the team at the office. While lounging at home during the day was generally relaxing, Truck simply wasn’t satisfied socializing with Rob, Sloan, Cullen, Wilder, or the neighbor Joe Baugh. He needed more. He started making a fuss every morning after breakfast, signaling to Rob that he was ready to take the plunge into office dog training.
After careful consideration, Rob decided Truck could come to the office on trial basis. Turns out, Truck was a master of making people smile. There wasn’t a man, woman, child or agent who didn’t love his wagging tail or firm paw shake. Thus, his esteemed office dog career began, making him the most popular team member at the firm.
Truck greeted thousands of clients over his decorated ten (10) year career. Despite his penchant for thoroughly inspecting trash cans and clients’ purses in the conference room, Truck was named Canine Employee of the Month an astounding 120 months in a row.
Unfortunately, Truck retired to dog heaven on veteran’s day in November of 2024. He touched many lives over his career, and he is greatly missed at the firm and in the downtown Franklin community. However, Truck spent a considerable amount of time training his sister, Duchess, to become Head Greeter and Dog at Law for the firm.
Duchess is doing a great job as Truck’s replacement, and he is looking down on her fondly as she carries on his long-standing duties and honors his important legacy. If you are looking for a law firm with a relaxed environment, lots of laughs, and a professional tail wagger, come see Duchess at Ashworth& Rye. You will not be disappointed. And, if you see her meandering through the office, feel free to give her some love and attention.
