Julia Wood


Julia graduated from UCLA as a Regents’ Scholar in 1989 and later earned her law degree from Pepperdine School of Law. She began her legal career in California in 1992 and developed broad experience across Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, Bankruptcy, Tax, Real Estate Contracts and Landlord/Tenant Law, Criminal Defense, and Family Law. After relocating to Franklin, Tennessee in 2007, Julia was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2009 and continued her work in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration in both California and Tennessee for many years.

In 2011, Julia expanded her professional focus into the real estate industry, becoming a REALTOR® and later earning her Broker’s license in 2014. During her real estate career, she achieved numerous National Association of REALTORS® designations, including ABR, GRI, SFR, SRES, and the prestigious CRS designation. In 2016, she was elected to serve a three-year term on the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors. She also taught Tennessee Real Estate Commission–accredited continuing education courses in agent advertising, business start-up, and tax planning.

Julia concluded her distinguished professional career with Ashworth Law Firm, where she focused on real estate transactional closings, estate planning, and probate and trust administration. She is now retired, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, expertise, and service to her clients and community.
